This eBook is targeted towards people new to internet marketing and is written in a very clear and easy newbie friendly manner.
It covers the basics of what a blog is, the different types of blogs, the advantages of blogging, blogging software and tools, how to set up a blogger account, naming your blog, choosing your blog template, and generating the blog. It also tells you what to do once you’ve set up your blog.
For me, the best part of the book were the list detailing all of the advantages of blogging. It really provides you with a list of compelling reasons why you should be blogging. It showcases how utilizing something as simple as writing –or blogging- about just about any theme can be really rewarding personally, businesswise and financially.
The other thing that impressed me about this book was the number of useful links included in each of the categories. While most books simply tell you to “find places to research potential niches”, this book went into detail about what to research and then linked me to many different places where I could do my research and actually download helpful products such as plug-ins for a blogger template.
In short, this book made my life as a newbie easier and I sure appreciate that.
The only thing I wish this book had is samples and an analysis of other Blogs especially successful ones. That way we could emulate what works. But I understand it is not possible to cover it all.
Overall, it’s a great guide and is best used as a desk reference. It has a lot of specific tools, and ideas for you to start with. This is an eBook you should prepare to highlight, print out and keep for the rest of your internet marketing career.
